RGB LED ORBz v1
Designed for the New York Hall of Science
Winter 2011

The goal of this kit was to make the simplest, solderless LED project possible for ages 6+ and to source as many materials as possible from dollar stores. Aside from the electronic components, the enclosure elements were all sourced from Knickerbocker Ave. The orb structure is made with the perfect fit of an ashtray into half of a clear plastic bauble. To get a wider throw of light from the LEDs, a small plastic silver cup is used as a reflector.
